YPC is the premier networking organization that aims to connect its membership to the pulse of the Columbus, Ohio community while developing and advancing each individual's potential.
Our rapidly growing membership represents a broad range of professional occupations including attorneys, bankers, engineers, corporate managers, account executives, teachers, medical professionals, community and social service leaders, restaurant and hospitality managers and much more.
OUR MISSION is to create personal, professional and community development opportunities while fostering strategic partnerships with local organizations.
We're working to positively influence the Greater Columbus region and help make the area even more attractive to young professionals as a place to live, work and play. Our objective is to help provide our membership an opportunity to shape our city's future.

YPC is dependent upon its board of directors to set the direction of YPC and engage with community leaders to open unique opportunities for the YPC membership.
Application Instructions:

o Nomination form (yes, you can nominate yourself!)
o Board Commitment Sheet (i.e. “What you need to know…”)
o Position Descriptions
o Election Policies
· Return all requested information no later than May 11th 2010 to secretary@ypcolumbus.org to be considered
o Completed Nomination Form
o Resume
o Cover Letter
· Ensure you are a member in good standing (have paid your dues)
Important Information:
· A total of eight (8) board positions are available, each carries a two (2) year term
· Should you will be elected onto the board, positions are decided thereafter
· After submitting your nomination you will be asked to submit a personal statement/cover letter if you so choose
