History of YPC

Several years ago, the Columbus Chamber initiated an Attract and Retain initiative to do exactly that – attract and retain young and talented people to Columbus. As one of the largest college towns in America, it is imperative that to keep Columbus’ future bright, we continue to bring in young, dynamic people to lead our community into the next generation.

Studies were completed by Rebecca Ryan of Next Generation Consulting, and the result was a need for a platform for YPs to develop, grow and get connected in Columbus.  

Young Professionals of Columbus (YPC) was one of the early groups as a result of these findings and has remained strong as one of the premier YP organizations in Columbus.

YPC has also remained true to its mission over the years, providing our members networking forums, unique connections within the community, development opportunities, and access to hundreds of events.
