As a YPC member you are not just adding an organization to your resume.  You are making an initiative to get involved and make a difference in the Columbus community.  YPC makes it easy for your voice to be heard by providing lots of benefits to you:

• Members of YPC get FREE access or discounted access to all YPC events.  The price-tag of events is not the only benefit though.  YPC members get first access to exclusive events where the public is not always invited!
• New to town? Not sure what's going on for YP's in Central Ohio? Unsure of how to really get involved and have your voice heard? All YPC events aim to answer at least one of these questions.
• If you attend events, you will absolutely positively meet new people. The networking opportunities are endless.
• You will receive updates and newsletters letting you know what's going on in Central Ohio and what you can get involved with.
Use talents that you have always wanted to develop by joining a committee.  YPC Committee’s provide you an opportunity to be the expert.  They also allow for opportunities for you to develop and grow skills that you do not have a chance to do within your current job. Real non-profit experience you can add to your resume. One example: Always wanted to help build and mantain a website. Get involved in this with YPC and add to your experience!
Being a member has its perks, but serving on the Board of Directors is even better.  Only members can become the leaders of the organization and apply to serve on the not-for-profit board.  Serving on the Board of Directors provides experience, opportunities, and direction for your career and your life.
