The 2012-2013 Board of Directors Elections will take place at the Annual Meeting on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at the Funny Bone Comedy Club. Get your ticket now for this great evening!

Are you interested in joining the YPC Board of Directors and becoming an integral part of this dynamic organization? YPC is dependent upon its board of directors to set the direction of YPC and engage with community leaders to open unique opportunities for the YPC membership.

2012-13 open positions: Development Chair, Membership Chair, Philanthropy Chair, Professional Development Chair, Social/Cultural Chair.

Application Instructions:

Read all attached documentation including:
- Nomination form (yes, you can nominate yourself!)
- Overview
- Board Commitment Sheet (i.e. "What you need to know...")
- Position Descriptions
- Election Timeline
Return all requested information no later than May 15th 2012 to treasurer@ypcolumbus.org to be considered
- Completed Nomination Form
- Resume
- Cover Letter
- Ensure you are a member in good standing (have paid your dues)

Important Information:

A total of five (5) board positions are available, each carries a two (2) year term
After submitting your nomination you will be asked to submit a personal statement/cover letter if you so choose
You will be given time to speak about your attributes at the Annual Meeting; please prepare a 2-4 minute speech

Join us for a night of fun and comedy at the Funny Bone Comedy Club to celebrate our successes over the past year, meet and vote on nominees for the Board of Directors, network with other young professionals and enjoy a show.

5:30 pm - Registration

5:45 pm - Doors open

6 pm - Annual meeting begins

7 pm - Annual meeting concludes

7 - 7:30 pm - Networking

7:30 - 9:30 pm - Comedian

Light appetizers and cash bar will be available prior to the Annual Meeting - so plan to arrive early!

Tickets:

Member - $20
Non-members - $35
